I don't buy it, but I buy that he ran out of gas as he wasn't able to train in the summer

That's fair actually. He had surgery, couldn't really train properly and ran out of gas. Get training Bobby!

Borowiecki says he's been playing through a sports hernia and may require surgery.

Marc Methot has an elbow injury that may require surgery.

I thought he and CMac had hip flexors.

EDUT: He had both -- bone chip in elbow and hip flexor.

I'm not sure you can have an elbow injury and a hip flexor at the same time but stranger things have happened.

Anyone ever want to say anything negative about Boro again? I thought not.

And wow, Methot...what a warrior.

BoroCop is the man.

If Ryan really had no injury, then he should've been benched. I think he must've had something wrong. He was terrible compared to his normal self. If he doesn't show up next year, we're in trouble.

Ryan was stuck on an awful line imo.

He looked way better once they put Hoffman there over Michalek.

Tbh he's looking more like Heatley every year.

He started sucking way before Hoffman ran over Cameron's cat. I still think that late hit from Petry (right around the Ides of March, I think) is where he got hurt. He went flying back/hip first into the boards, had trouble getting up even though it looked like he was waiving the trainer away.

He just said, yet again, he wasn't hurt. No mystery here. He was just playing some of the worst hockey of his life.

Let's just hope it was an aberration, because if not, we're in all kinds of trouble.

Holy cow, he needs to really work hard this summer. There's a fair excuse for him running out of gas - this one time. But dude...

Ryan for sure needs to commit himself to his off ice training because if he doesn't years 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of that new contract will look really, really bad.

That said I am not overly concerned about next year or the year after, he will get his 20 goals, 60 points and be a game breaker.

He needs more than 20 to be worth his contract. I don't have concerns going forward

Me neither. He carried this team for the first half IMO.
