OK,I know it's my thing, so I'm going to do it. It was unfortunate for the Caps to get all those 5 on 3s, but as much as we all have that rule it's still on the books. Sens got those goals fair and square, yet it certainly looked like the refs were trying to make it up to the Caps the rest of the night.

How did they not call goaltender interference on the second goal? The guy is *behind* Hammond! They were running him a bit and nothing gets called.

How did Gryba get the matching penalty for getting cross checked? He got up, have the guy a tiny push with one hand and that's roughing? What a joke. That led to the 4-on-4.

During the 4-on4 Karlsson has the puck behind the goal and trying to bring it around, and Backstrom is all over him. Stick around him fro behind, grabbing him with his arms. No call.

That offside???! What the Diddle was he even calling? Puck came out, CMac hit it In the air and it landed outside the blue line. All the Sens cleared the zone and Mac brought it over the line. He had clear possession of the puck inside the blue line as Stone was still a god two feet outside. That was a scoring chance taken away.

Meh, we can only control how we play, not the refs. No point even thinking about it IMO.

Hoffman, apparently, only had a couple of shifts in the third. Yet there he was almost squeaking one through. Holtby just barely held on to that shot. I don't understand Cameron. Hoffman is not going to be like Pageau, but Pageau won't score 30 goals, either.

I understand him totally.hoffmn just doenst win any battles and cant be relied on defensively.

He's playing like a moron with the puck, yah he makes the occasional play and sometimes scores but most of the time, in the past 20 games he's been playing a very irresponsible game and a very immature game. He deserves the ice he's getting right now and until he decides to dump the puck in once in a while, not get caught at the offensive blueline, and just doing what the coach is asking the team in general.

Yeah, that's the downside to Hoffman. It can be corrected though.

He is Michael grabner, Mason Raymond , IMO

Pretty much, but capable of more production if he keeps healthy.

I'll say this about Hoffman though, neither of those guys has his shot.

No. That's what I mean. More production if he can stay healthy and learn what it takes to play when you're in a slump.
