Teams on the west coast got to see vintage Karlsson. Pre-Cooke Karlsson I'd say.

Now Karlsson has to score two.

I guess we get to find out if the Pesky is gone or not.

And the answer so , Yes, the Pesky s back.

I knew we had the game in the bag when that fool Subban was trying to be a one man show in the 3rd.

Seriously, though, how many hams can one man burgle?

Anderson is gone this summer. Hammond has proven he can be a solid backup.

You gotta beat them any means necessary. Not to mention the guy embellished.

Speaking of embellishment, that "tripping" minor to Hoff on Eller was disgusting. And I don't know who the color guy was but he's going on and on how you must make that call because he took his fee out. The stick was above his waist and, yes, his feet did come flying out. Clear *CLEAR* case of embellishment. They called out Bobby Ryan for the phantom high stick and how TPTB review stuff like this. Well I hope they also review Eller's dive.

5 stitches. Don't know if he'll miss any time.

All we can do is keep winning. We'll gain ground at some pint.

We're seven back of Boston with one in hand. Boston is playing great.

We are nine back of Washington with *two* in hand. Washington is playing .500. Washington plays Boston *twice* and Ottawa once. So, Sunday night, do I cheer for Boston (against the Caps)?

Agreed on Wiercioch but did you see him skating back to catch Patch?  Yeesh...is he ever slow!

He was faster than Karlsson. Bobby Ryan passed Karlsson. Erik gave up on the play right away. I guess he was conserving energy.

NEELY wrote:So Hammond doesn't lose hockey games... how about that.

I got ripped here when I brought up the fact that Anderson gave up 4 (and then 3 next game). Hammond hasn't given up more than 2 in any game. Anderson may be the better goalie but Hammond is on fire.

TheAvatar wrote:I love it when I criticize them and they make a liar out of me. That's awesome. Horrible 1st period but what a recovery.

Almost killing a double-minor and getting scored on with 14 seconds left is deflating. And why the heck did I see Plekanec later in the game after he clearly must have lost an eye on that double minor? Unreal. I can see with Parenteau there was at least blood (although Ryan's got a bloody mouth a couple times recently with *no* call at all). Speaking of no calls, that hit Petry put on Ryan should have been interference. But I must admit that if that was Boro on Pacioretty I would have loved it.

Not just a solid backup but also someone to push Lehner. As good as Anderson has played this year, how many times has he gone on a streak? He's won 2 games in a row 6 times this year (and one of those was in two games 6 weeks apart).

Habs were falling all over the place looking for calls in the 3rd.

I don't think we were even that physical with them and they still folded like a cheap suit. Wait til we face them in the playoffs. They're in for a shaming of historical proportions.

I was surprised Cameron scratched Gryba last night. He's like their boogeyman
