Matrix will start. As our insider Vandelay suggested, Greening is in for Matt "Pumpy" Puempel.

Karlsson had 35 minutes of ice time last night.   How effective could he be back to back with travel the night before, to boot?

We've got Greening and Cowen who are well rested, along with Anderson.   Hell, why not call up Wideman and rest Gryba.

Winnipeg leads the league in the number of times they've been short-handed.  If Wideman could help out PP it would really help.

I'm sure Puempel comes out for Greening.  Didn't see the guy after that stupid penalty in the first.

I was wondering what Cameron was gonna do in that case. You can either tell him not to do that again and trot him back out, or you could sit him.

No issue with Greening coming in, they won 2 games with him on that 4th line. He has every right to be in the lineup.

I thought Greening was solid against LA. Registered some hits and had at least one good individual rush. Let's be real here, Puempel hasn't been impressive so he didn't really earn the benefit of the doubt from Cameron.

Puempel wasn't impressive last night, but in the previous games he's played, I watched closely and he made things happen on every shift. Could easily have a couple of goals.

Probably felt he had a better chance of winning if he waited for an easier game. Wouldn't want a blemish on your stats when a lot of the team had the flu.

Low-rent local media hacks trying to turn this into a $hit storm. Including John "JR" Rodenburg (?)

This bizarro #Sens goalie flip-flop reflects very poorly on Craig Anderson.

Yeah, they are really turning it into something way bigger than it is. Saying the coach is embarassed and it reflects poorly on Anderson....wow, I guess things have been going too well lately, they need something negative to focus on. Sickening douche bags.

I agree with JR. Anderson is 100% gone this summer IMHO. Too flaky.

I think Anderson was already high-probability trade bait this summer, and I don't think this "situation" impacts that at all. You can't question his competitiveness or desire to win...he's proven that time and time again. Goalies are weird, and sometimes their heads aren't over being injured even if they phsically are...Hasek is a good example, and the list goes on from there.

History is there though with basically quitting on Colorado.

Pfft, OK. You've clearly bought into what the media flakes are selling you. He should be traded this summer regardless.
