There are a ton of reasons not to.  One being the team is better without him.

It is totally irrelevant tomorrow.

There won't be a single change going into tomorrow other than if someone is banged up.

If we lose tomorrow, we can all take solace knowing that Ev made himself look like a jerk.

When Cowen is healthy he is going in.

How is now the time to see what guys can do. WP Rager said the same thing for some incomprehensible reason. Plus Gryba has been solid just about all year long.

My reason was very comprehensible. You were just being obtuse.

No *that* is incomprehensible.

Homer statistician. Pageau runs into a Jet, well clearly the Jet player hit Pageau.

He missed the last 5 games, not the last 7. This team won the first two games of the point streak with Cowen in the lineup.

They beat Mtl and Fla at home... so what? Even then he struggled.

The team is better without Cowen on the ice and Wiercioch is a better player than Cowen, simple as that. There is no logical reason to play Cowen over Wiercioch or Borowiecki right now, none.

Struggled? They won 4-1 and 4-2. Don't think anyone struggled, really. Look, I've been banging my shoe for Wiercioch a lot longer than most here, and I've also clearly indicated that I was becoming less and less patient with Cowen. I started saying we should trade Cowen and not Wiercioch a long time ago before you jumped on board.

But all I'm saying is that the Sens can win even with Cowen in the lineup. Against the better, faster clubs, perhaps not. But I wonder if he would have been able to deal with Big Buff a little better.

The statement wasn't "the Sens can't win with Cowen" it was "the Sens are better without Cowen".

I personally don't agree that hes a better player than cowen but whatever

I have always maintained Wiercioch is a better player even in his bad times and it's starting to look more and more clear that that's exactly the case.  Besides his obvious short comings Wiercioch is a guy that can do things Cowen can't.  Cowen does very little that Wiercioch can't. Based on Cowen's suspensions it could be a case he can't even do that anymore.

I'm still a fan but he's one guy that could not afford to miss games. He's just too slow as is. Friday is definitely the right time to get him back in and hope he gets it real quick.

I highly doubt you have "always maintained" Wiercioch is a better player than Cowen. And I 100% know you didn't when they both signed contracts

Wierciocj is still slower than him though. COwen is going to be like myers if he's ever dealt but he has a bit less offensive upside

I don't think Cowen was slow, but he was very slow at decision making. Wiercioch was very slow at the stay of the year but has been a lot faster more recently.
