The way the Kings back check is crazy. In fact they get most of their goals from a great defensive play.

Kerry Fraser tweeted that the hit was so late that the rest had already joined the rush up the ice. He plain missed it. Are you sure it wasn't the linesman looking right at it?

Nope.. found the video .. it definitely was one of the refs he was near the faceoff circle.. Shoulder to the head.. blind side..

I time it from a vine, was about .69 second. Not that late, really. Predatory, for sure, but not any worse than Neil on Drury, and less devastating.

True... but in this new NHL blindside hits to the head are not supposed to be allowed. Neil's hit on Drury.. had it happened in the new NHL would have got him about a 10 game or more suspension. I assume since Stepan came back.. there will be no suspension. So that POS gets away with another dirty play.
