I'm pissed at that giveaway too. He's definitely gotta be more responsible defensively.

But sens sitting back now too much...or the hawks have just woken up. Btw i think sens have the longest active streak for allowing two or more goals

There is honestly nothing special about Methot other than he's from Ottawa which people for some reason love. He's going to get a long contract with a raise not to mention the off ice BS.

Exactly. The young blueline is growing and getting better. As tough as this year was for them they will be better for it down the line. Does anyone really want to lose Wiercioch or Cowen at the cost of signing Methot to a big, long term deal? I hope not.

Again takes time but he will put more weight, come to camp more physically mature, and another year more experienced. If you are looking for the logical guy to move it is for sure Methot.

What I would have rather had was phillips traded or not signed so the d-core would have been cowen-weir-methot for next season. Boro as the extra. Those three are better than phillips at this point. But yeah I can see methot being the one traded and boro get groomed for two seasons to replace Philly
