Carlyle was a little critical of Reimer after their loss last night. Things are going a little south in Leaf-land, just in time for the playoffs.

I hope Detroit misses out as well. I hope the bottom falls out of Toronto and they miss it as well. They are 5 pts out of 9th.. when they had almost a double digit lead from 9th..

Those Western playoffs are going to be very fast, physical and entertaining. Any one of Chi, St Louis, SJ or Anaheim will come out on top. I don't think there is a team in the East that could match any of these teams at the top of their game...

ya it's a lot tougher in the west with pitts and Boston being the only real threat in the east.

I'm looking forward to seeing who the upsets are!

Leafs are starting their 18-wheeler routine a bit later this year... if they try hard enough, they might even miss the playoffs...

I'd actually like to see Detroit get in instead of them.

After this disastrous season for the Sens, what would make up for it a bit is to win the last home game against the Leafs that puts them out of the playoffs..

Philly just beat the Penguins in a home-and-home, then beat the Hawks. They are really rounding into form.

Boston has won 10 in a row but look at the competition they faced in that stretch -- sure, some decent teams, but Florida x2, Carolina, Washington, Habs and Rangers before their bad spells were broken by Ottawa.

The Leafs currently have a 5 point cushion, but that can evaporate quickly if the keep losing. If Bernier comes back soon, though, that could right the ship. Last night Reimer was pretty bad.
