A) We thought we could spend Alfie money on a guy that will have more of a long-term impact here (Clarkson, etc)

B) The Alfie really, REALLY thought he had a better shot at a Cup elsewhere

C) We're flat broke and won't be signing anybody.

If the answer is C, The Euge better sell the team and get out.

We've had garbage teams most of the last few years here. He was PPG in the playoffs.

That's simply not true. They would offer that easily, $3 million was the salary. Alfredsson just wanted out
