They either lose Malkin for nothing or trade him and get what they can. Too many egos in that room right now. Being bounced in four straight, losing confidence in your #1 goalie, having the two (arguably) best offensive players held pointless, a forward on his last year rumoured to offered $15M tax free in the KHL.
It could be a very different Penguins team come October.

Yeah I was actually calling this exact trade near the deadline (before they got iginla/morrow). I think they'll target luongo again. At this point, I think MAF will have to go back the other way (and maybe he's better for the canucks to have as backup than luongo).

Lalongo is not going to the Pens. Are they truly going to get rid of one playoff basket case goalie for another playoff basket case goalie?
Vokun is here for next season and I think they try to find their new goalie prodigy from WSP. They need cheddar next season and aren't going to waste a dime on goal tending.
