I don't really feel it for us. Andy would have to keep playing at an insane level the entire playoffs. We've gotten outplayed for large stretches of time by our opponents and our PP is laughably bad.

Exactly! That's why they'd never allow it.

i agree that Andy would have to stand on his head but Vokoum can also falter. I think this series is obviously a hard one for us to win but to mee this series is way more of a test then say the one that would follow.

History never fails to repeat itself. They allowed it once, they will allow it again (whether they really want to or not).

Vokoun can falter but Pittsburgh can outscore any mistakes he makes. They somehow win games with Fleury in net after all.

Miracle comebacks and fantastic goaltending are great and get you far. But at some point you are going to have to solidly outplay your opponent and I really haven't seen it yet.

We all knew this coming in:
- Andy will have to steal some games for us
- Pens' defense and goaltending are questionable, but either MAF or Vokoun can be solid
- We can't take penalties

It's that last one that is a little hard to control. The slashing that Karlsson got -- those ones you need to eliminate. Argue all you want that you don't call something like that with 2 minutes to go, or that he didn't really slash the stick but broke his against the ice, that same thing wasn't called on the first Dung -- point is, it was a slash out of frustration and we need to curb any and all such plays. The refs appear to be simply waiting for an opportunity to call one against the Sens, so don't give them that opportunity.

G2 was the boarding call on Latendresse (and then no coverage by him after getting out of the box).

I think Anderson is capable of being in that company.

However, I'm not sure the rest of the team has the will and skill to get us the whole way.

You could put a sheet of plywood to cover the net and eventually enough shots would break the plywood and we would still lose.

If that's not enough adversity, we have the refs against us. I'm pretty sure if you look in the dictionary for underdog, you will see a picture of a Sens sweater.

But, history is full of examples when despite the odds, the underdog prevails, so you never know.

I'd just like to know which team shows up tomorrow. The team from games 1 and 2 or the one from game 3.

Back in the day, we had SmartFilter at work and the OfficePools domain was blocked. We discovered that the blocking was done by domain name and that using an IP address worked.
