That should help. I'm expecting a good back and forth game with lots of chances. I really hope the Sens can open up and pot a few (11 or 12 will do just fine).

Neil and Kassian need to pound faces if the Flyers take liberties. Rinaldo is out so we may not see much of that.

I know, I don't buy into it either really, but Concaher can't do much if something like that happens to Z-Bad, but someone who is much bigger might be able to at least rattle the cage. Not sure, we'll have to keep an eye on it. What happened to Z-Bad (twice) should have resulted in that guy's teeth being ejected.

Thank God Regin is out... he's been awful and if it wasn't for injuries probably would have been waived with Daugavins.

Thing is nobody did anything. Even if no one on Zib's line did anything, Neil or Kassian could come on and do something after and they still didn't.

They haven't really pushed back like they did last year.

What would you want them to do in a 2-2 game while fighting for a big 2 points? It would be pretty stupid to cost your team to get back at someone in a 2-2 game late in the 3rd wouldn't it?

Do people really not understand different situations?

I'm sure if the Sens are 2 points up on 8th when they play then Pens and the entire team doesn't try and destroy Cooke, then people will be calling for heads and saying the team has no push back.

MacLean confirms the following lineup changes for tonight: Lehner in goal. Pageau will play and Regin is a healthy scratch.

So happy to see Regin as a scratch.

That's what I mean, you can't do something afterwards, the best you can do is poke him in the teeth a couple of times during the ensuing scrum - and whose gonna do that? Tiny little Concacher?

EDIT: That's why I wasn't excited about Kassian's acquisition at all. Useless in a playoff run. No need to fight meatheads in a playoff run. And he's zero deterrent.

He's done. They gave him every chance to succeed, showed faith in him, and he's done nothing except take up air and space. That's a player built for the KHL.

Remember all the "I would take Regin over Penner any day" people? lol, yah, sure you would.

Did O'Brien get it on with Mrs. MacLean?

Yah, he must have done something seriously wrong for him not to be getting a sniff of the lineup... that or he's injured.

Anderson's one of those goalies who are way better when they face a ton of shots. I think the last two games have been in the low 20's. He needs some action.

He looked about the same as he did coming off the chicken injury. It'll take a bit of time before he is up to speed. Can't really think of any bad goals he let in, maybe one in Florida. Can't blame him for the losses.

They just can't score. When you make Clemmensen look like a Vezina candiate, something is wrong.

They are awful on the PP, awful at getting out of their own zone and awful on faceoffs (how many times have we been scored on a set play from a faceoff loss ?).

Those wouldn't be a problem if we had Spezza and Karlsson ...... but what can you do.

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. As you say, Spezza and Karlsson are the two guys that instantly remedy those problems.

I guess you might say that the hunter has become the hunted...
