That should not have been that close.

Well, at least everyone gets a Big Mac (Alfie's goal scored in the last minute).

Three afternoon games in a row the Sens have scored 4 goals (plus one empty-netter). Maybe the afternoon curse is lifting. Or maybe it's the level of the competition.

Congratulations to Gryba for his first. The Sweeds 'n Tender line was clicking. Methot made me think of what might have been if he had played on Thursday. Alfie is flying out there. Should have had a hattrick (even without the empty-netter).

2 more points banked.

Does Zack Smith have something against Lehner or something? that's 3 games in the past 6 or 7 he tips a shot for a goal against.

Glad that happened the way it did... teams need to have that happen once in a while. Good reminded to never stop playing your game.

All that matters at this point. If they can keep this pace going, they're due to surprise the league again. No one could have thought they'd be in this position after losing their top goalie (tops in the league), top D (tops in the league), top C (definitely not tops in the league, but a top 3 C in the league last season), and top winger (at least in terms of goal production).

That's clearly a game where lessons should be learned.

Silfverberg is amazing. How about his transition to the NHL?! Confused!

Took him a few weeks, but he's definitely arrived. If not for Conacher and Huberdeau, he'd probably be in the Calder discussion right now. At the same time, if he keeps playing the way he's been over the last couple weeks, he may well fight his way into the conversation. Patty W could find himself in the mix as well. The two of them have really brought their game up over the last few weeks.

Agreed. They've really built some chemistry. Cheers

Yeah, I wouldn't separate those two guys right now. Latendresse too, he looks like he's the perfect winger to clean up the rebounds for them.

He's really caught up to Huberdeau - relatively speaking that is. If he keeps up this play, which is probably not gonna happen, he could possibly come close - he's 7 points away right now.

Probably not, but he's gonna be a beautiful player for Ottawa. So is Wiercioch - so many things he does offensively can't really be taught as much as learned from a guy like Gonchar. Really impressed.

Zibanejad too, starting to look for real. Gryba too - and on and on. Looks good on the organization.

They just need to keep producing players down in the AHL. Hopefully Richardson stays for a while because Ottawa's 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounders are better than 1/2 the NHL's 2nds.

Yeah - and we shouldn't forget Kleinendorst's huge work for this organization.

Zibanejad has been over 50% in faceoffs for mroe than 5 games. In fact, he's averaged over 60% during the same period

Sweet. We've needed some help in the dot.
