He's got 11 points in 24 games -- that's not quite 41 over 82 (closer to 38). However over the last 6 he's on a 55-goal, 67-point pace. Sarcasm

Realistically he should top 20 points, which is not bad for a rookie in a 48-game season, on a team having trouble scoring. He is 4th in total scoring among rookie defensemen. Schultz has 4 more points and has played in 3 more games. If you look at Wiercioch's totals since Karlsson went down, he's got 7 points in 13 games, which is a 44 point pace. And, again, this is on a team that has, until the last couple of games, had a great difficulty in scoring.

He has 13 in 25 now.

I double-checked his game log. He's got 11 counting the two points today. He's only played 24.

11 in 24 I think. NHL.com's stats already include today's games. ESPN and TSN have not updated theirs yet.

Mendes: Paul MacLean didn't announce his starting goalie for tomorrow vs WPG. I have no clue which way he is leaning.

Heh heh.

How are the Devils and Jets (both negative in goal differential) in while the Lightning are +5 and out? And not only out but way down in 13th! Inconsistent goaltending, I guess.

The KAssassin played a whooping 3:25 Bond

MacLean joked with us that he'd have to go to confession if he told us what the coaching staff said to the players after the 1st period.

per mendes. another classic MacLean quote

You noticed him in the those 3 mins though, made the most of them. Can't really throw the guy to the wolves after having very limited practice time.

Early days for Kassian... PMac will find the sweet spot. It also lets Neil roam a bit more freely knowing Kassian is there too.

Fought a top 4 D man, not a 4th line plug. Difference is right there.

And was a +1. Imagine if he played a regular shift Sarcasm

Edit: The box score has him at 0, but he was definitely on the ice for Big Rig's goal, and that was five-on-five.

Yeah, I didn't realize that. Apparently not a shining moment for him.
