Couple of nights back I'm picking up two King Deal Meals at the BK drivethrough. My kid's with me in the car (after his game) and asks for no tomato. When I get the bag with the food I ask, which one is the no-tomato one? The guy replies (I'm not making this up, and he was serious), "I'm pretty sure it's either the one on top or the one on the bottom." It was all I could do not to burst out laughing; then I turn to look at my kid and he's pretty much the same. As soon as we pulled away we both burst out laughing.

Gotta go sign mortgage papers then I'm getting stonned and drunk and eating a pizza and watching this beauty of a matchup!

Mendes: Ben Bishop took most of the reps in the starter's end during practice and was the first goalie to the leave the ice. Looks like he starts.

Solid. Looking forward to seeing Bishop play his first of the season.

No, but miss 2 years of hockey and playing this schedule you need some time to recover. Very good move IMO, not the guy that was going to be coming out of the gates flying and Daugavins needs to get in as well as Boroweicki. Nothing wrong with that move and it keeps everyone honest.

Weircioch didn't have his best game last night, not bad but not good, somewhere inbetween. Both guys need to get in like I said before and giving guys a break is what will be needed all year, especially on back to backs. Depth is great for this reason and this is why IMO the Sens have a real chance to do some damage this year in the East.

Yup, absolutely. There is no message sending here other than "we gotta get some guys in and we think you just need a little break". That's it. There is no calling out players or sending silent messages, it's as a simple as "everyone has to play at some point".

Eventually there will be an injury and you don't want guys being rusty because they haven't played in a month like Clouston did with Lee a couple years back.

The Tenderness apparently has a minor injury, so K-Daug is in for him.
