That was really dumb. I didn't even bother watching the CBC broadcast as it was all known by then. And it totally sucked I hear. They either need to get rid of the show entirely, or re-vamp it and not try to be something they are not.

I watched Karlsson win the Norris, then turned it off, no point after that.

The main appeal with an awards show is finding out who wins the awards. If you can find out the winners before the show airs...yeah...stupid.

1) Arnett impressions of shanahan
2) Erin Andrews
3) Tracy Morgan piece

Beyond that, they gotta improve the production value of this show. Even being in Vegas didn't do anything to improve the atmosphere. The speeches by players (including karlsson) were awful.

Worst way to start the show: Matthew Perry. I think that was the worst part of the entire show, AND he gave the award to karlsson

I didn't mind the show as much as the audience. They should have made a mandatory cover charge, everyone gets a drink whether they like it or not. Some of the jokes were pretty good but no-one was laughing. Even some of Perry's jokes were good (although his timing wasn't very good). Boy, he's really aged, looks like he hasn't slept more than 6 hours for a decade.
