and that Alfie chant - talk about lame. Why tonight? Lame as lame gets. Alfie was probably pissed.

that being said though it should have been 1-1 going into the shootout right about now. Cussing refs were awful.

Surprised it was as loud as it was. A little lame but at least they're trying new things as fans.

A better chant would be 'one more year!' preferably after he scores a goal

Doesn't make it okay to just coast in the game. I'm more disappointed in anderson's game. That was a terrible effort by him tonight. Still can't get over how he quit on that strip job by skinner.

They clinched the other night, probably did a few lines on the plane, and had a letdown today. It happens.

Predictable ? Yes

Good ? No. You'd think they'd have more drive than that to avoid playing Boston. Not to mention it'd be nice to go into the playoffs on a winning note although 2 games left to get that going again.

Boychuk was injured apparently.

IMO - they WANT to play Boston. Nothing to lose, playing your division rival who won the Cup last year. Bring it on.

We have no real rivalry with Boston and years of futility playing them and Thomas. If they actually want to play them, they need to give their heads a shake. We have nothing to lose playing any possible opponent in the 1st round.

I think you're dead wrong, to put it nicely. Every player on that team would love to beat the Bruins. Nobody cares what they've done to them in the past. The playoffs are a new season. Playing the Panthers might be even worse. Might coast thinking it's gonna be easy based on their past success against them.

and no rivalry with Boston? I disagree. Those games are always big.

They wanted to look at the last seven games as a playoff series. They knocked off four in a row. I can see how they'd have trouble getting up for a game against the Hurricanes. It's the wrong attitude, but it happens.

They'll move on and hopefully win the last two games and get warmed up for the playoffs.

The one in the scoreboard was malfunctioning and they had to use an air horn.
