Apparently Rundblad can play the left side, they may be trying that out.

Did Rundblad not play with Adam Larsson at times last year? I only caught about 3-4 of the swedish streams, but that pairing would have had Rundblad on the left side, would it not? Obviously the right seems ideal, but I don't see the harm in playing the kid on the left side to see what he brings to the table.

Rundblad played much of his SEL career alongside Erixon, a lefty. I think Erixon was gone last year, tho'.

If Rundblad is comfortable there and has had experience, I don't see a problem. But I don't see much to suggest that he's had experience, given the Erixon pairing in the past. As to how it feels on him, who knows. As he's been playing the right side for most of his career, I'd tend to think it feels awkward, tho'.

That will be the only way he makes the team out of camp.

Rundblad is more of a project than I thought and that could very well include playing on the left side going forward.
