Havlat to San Jose for Heatley (to Wild)

Hahahahaha. I love the trade for the Sharks and kind of don't mind it for the Wild to be honest. But really...wow..

Heatley is done. He may get 30-40 goals, but they won't sniff the playoffs. The wild just got slower, lazier, and unless there is a cure for cancer, they got that too.

This trade is for sure the end of Heatley as a player looked at as elite if he hasn't been downgraded already.

Havlat is a nice player, he will get a ton of room playing on the 2nd line in San Jose.

GM Wilson confirms Heatley submitted list of 10 teams he wouldn't be traded to as part of "window."

Looks like BM built a little escape clause into Heatley's contract.

It's a shame that the window didn't kick in at the end of the 08/09 season. Either way, like Neely, I take Michalek for Heatley every time, particularly with the knowledge of DH's decline.
