...Let's get raped ... again.
The B-Sens opened a crack in the trap and exploited that crack for 18 shots and 2 goals in the first period. This proved too much for the Aeros to overcome as the home team skated away with a solid 3-0 win. Lehner faced just 21 shots for his league-leading 3rd shutout of the post-season. A little line-juggling from Koach Kleinendorst paid dividends as the newly-formed Dziurzynski-Bass-Green line contributed the opening goal. Condra moved up to Locke's line and assisted on the third period nail-in-the-coffin goal by Derek Smith -- who drew in to replace late scratch Wiercioch. The most impressive stat (for me) was the 21 shots allowed by the B-Sens defense, even if it robbed Lehner of first-star honors
Tonight's going to be a rough night. The Aeros now realize that they cannot compete in a free-wheeling game. Their trap appears to have been at least partially solved, and the only thing they have left now is rough play. But all that hitting has got to be softening the Aeros players, as well. They just finished a gruelling 7-game series and have are now playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. They'll definitely come out with guns blazing and sticks held high, but if the B-Sens can keep them at bay in those first 5-10 minutes I can see the Aeros running out of gas. This *will be* the last home game of the 2010-11 hockey season; let's give the fans something to remember.

SD's Red Line Report:
Come out with the intensity of last game and score first. There's really nothing more to say, but we're winning this Cussing game!
