SD Red Line Report:
Jim O'Brien and Colin Greening: Both have been playing well, with Greening playing exceptionally well according to Bingo fans, but...in the Finals, you need everyone to pitch in offensively. If the rest of Bingo can maintain their levels of scoring, then the onus might come off these two a bit, but if there are struggles of any kind, the B-Sens will look to 1/3 of the lethal 2nd line of Greening, Locke and Butler to start ramping it up offensively.
Similarly, Jim O'Brien had a stellar year for the B-Sens - one of the most improved players, but his stamina and endurance seemed to lack slightly as he tailed off towards the end of the year and in these playoffs.
O'Brien's 5 points in 17 games places him only 1 up on Jared Cowen...the thing is, Cowen's played only 5 games and isn't really known as an offensive dynamo. Greening has but 3 points. Again, points aren't everything, but in this specific instance, the B-Sens could use an offensive contribution from these two.
In an intra squad game yesterday, Robin Lehner's squad beat Barry Brust's squad 6-1 with Bobby B getting a goal and talented University grad Pat Cannone scoring 2 in succession.
This is it boys! You're loaded and ready, make it happen!
