Don't you wish we got Couture in the Heatley deal? C'mon man.

Brad Stuart has to be one of the most underrated D-men in the league. He's got a ton to offer.

Not done playing yet? But I've got to get to bed!

well they gave it their all....sucks that san jose won though. Just goes back to show you how blowing leads like in game 1 and 3 can cost you the entire series, and that really was it.

neither of Vancouver or San Jose deserve to win the cup. Thumbs Down

I don't really get all the SJ hate. Yeah, Heatley is an Donkey. But SJ has a very entertaining, deep team. Couture and Boyle have Ottawa ties, and guys like Pavelski, Clowe, and Douglas Murray all play their roles extremely well. I think Van/SJ should be another great series, as both teams have stars that aren't performing particularly well, but have great supporting casts! Plus, it'll be fun to see guys like Clowe and Kesler go head-to-head.

Why not? They are the best teams remaining.

By "the best teams remaining", do you mean they are both better than Boston and TB?

They are the only teams remaining in the West, so yeah, they are the two best teams remaining in the West, by default.

Just too many injuries. They started the game without Franzen, and before the middle of the game, they had lost Cleary and Bertuzzi as well. That is, there were missing their entire 2nd line. They played that final 30 minutes with one or more of Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Fillpula on the ice the whole time and a few scrubs surrounding them. They were just missing too many guys to give the push back they needed to in the third. The two goals they did score testify to just how amazing Datsyuk and Zetterberg are, tho'.

Yes, they are a lot better than the East teams. Whoever wins this wins the Cup.

Was hoping for a Wings win... oh well... it is what it is... on to the next round...

I wanted the Wings to win if only for more reasonable start times in the Conference Finals. Those 10:30 SJ starts just wreck me.

I'm having nightmares of SJ winning the Cup.. and seeing Heatley raise it over his head. NOT BEFORE ALFIE... please hockey gods. Don't hate the Sens that much..
