No big surprise, but neat stuff. When you translate it at the top of the screen, it gives you this (check the bolded!):

David Rundblad won defensemen points and was third in overall scoring leaders in the Elite League. Now he is being acknowledged also that the Elite series' best defenseman to be awarded Salming Trophy.
- David Rundblad is currently elitishockeyns most exciting defenseman, "says Borje Salming.
With eleven goals and 39 assists in 55 games in the regular season was David Rundblad series dominant figure on the reverse side. He scored twelve points more than any other defenseman and was third in overall scoring leaders, only outdistanced by teammates Joakim Lindstrom and Mikko Lehtonen.

Now praised 20-year-old also officially and rewarded with Salming Elite Series Trophy as the best defenseman.

- David Rundblad is currently elitishockeyns most exciting defenseman, he is skilled with the puck, he always wants to progress and I see myself in him, from my breakthrough year in the 1970s. Nothing is impossible for David, "says Borje Salming in a statement.

This is the third year, the awards out and went to Marcus Ragnarsson 2009 and Magnus Johansson last year.

- It feels great to be rewarded by Borje, I have read and heard much about him, and his track record really stands out. That is nice that he noticed my offensive game. Ice hockey is to win games, and the "guidance game" is not really my game idea, says David Rundblad.

Really? I was talking to some friends in New York. They said -- quite unequivocally, I might add -- that he sucks.

The top D man in The SEL is 100% an NHL D man.

They love Tarasenko apparently - and I don't blame them, that kid is electric. Now, they might regret it, but only slightly and only because they ended up moving their big gun EJ, but even then, they have a ton of good offensive D-men coming up.

Short answer is: slightly. Laugh1

Long answer is: no, Tarasenko is their next go-to guy for their offense.

Meh, it was a trade both teams wanted. No winner at this point. Ottawa couldn't turn down a guy they had in the top 10 a years ago for the 17th overall pick.

It's like the incredibly rare, legitimately mutual breakup. I think this is a trade that's actually fairly balanced. Once these guys actually hit the ice, we'll see, but for now I agree with Neely. No winner; no loser.
