David Rundblad won defensemen points and was third in overall scoring leaders in the Elite League. Now he is being acknowledged also that the Elite series' best defenseman to be awarded Salming Trophy.

With eleven goals and 39 assists in 55 games in the regular season was David Rundblad series dominant figure on the reverse side. He scored twelve points more than any other defenseman and was third in overall scoring leaders, only outdistanced by teammates Joakim Lindstrom and Mikko Lehtonen.
Now praised 20-year-old also officially and rewarded with Salming Elite Series Trophy as the best defenseman.
