While we're talking hot sauce... Sriracha is where it's at! That's got some nice heat...

I love Ketchup and I put ketchup on everything. that inlcudes KD....and Pizza....and Poutine.....

that's right...I went there.

Shouldn't that be Frank's Red hot? I put that ?xIT on everything.

My colleague uses this Asian rooster sauce that is sweet at first, then turns into napalm. It's a clear bottle with a green cap. He calls it "Wang Sauce". It's vile.

Sriracha sauce, aka "Rooster Sauce." The best.

That's it. Bottled evil.
Thanks for the picture. I didn't know what sauce you guys were talking about but I recognize the picture. That's the stuff we have. Its pretty much mainstream and I believe that we buy it at Costco.

Do you also remember PopShoppe in the old stubbies?

I definitely do.

So do I. The original Pop Shoppe idea was from a business class project at UWO and the original plant was in east London near my family's home.

Unfortunately, for us in the neighbourhood, it was right near Cuddy's. Boy did that stink!

Hickory vs. Mesquite: can you tell the difference in a blind taste test?

Probably not. Add Mesquite to my list of BBQ sauce flavour preferences. Smile

I do remember. There's still a PopShoppe in Cornwall is there not? Perhaps SSF can shed some light on this?

I went through a phase of making my own beef jerky for a while, and I had both mesquite and hickory smoke bottles. I alternated from one to the other, tried mixing them together. There is a difference in the smell but I honestly could not tell you which was which.

At 10.36? That's almost as gross as slamming a diet Pepsi before noon.

This is making me hungry for some Italpasta macaroni and cheese dinner with a dollop of Great Value Tomato Ketchup on top and a lovely C-Up to wash it down with!
