Any trade is going to have something coming back to us. And in the case of Kovalev, if we do move him, chances are someone else's junk will be coming our way.

What are you talking about? Give pascal the league minimum on a two way contract. He makes an awesome third goalie option. With some blind luck he's healthy???

No way Flo.

That contract would create the same mess we are in right now with the call-up carousel. I'm not going to get into all the hypotheticals, but the waiver process alone for Leclaire would create drama and voids.

Just be happy that the Leclaire experiment is over very soon.

I'm about to board a flight to Calgary and Butler and O'brien are on it. I'm assuming Alfie is out and Ruutu is still a scratch for tonight..
