So Hamilton, Siemens, Oleksiak, Murphy etc might all go top 10. which leaves one of Huberdeau, Strome or Couturier at 8,9,10. Then you offer Nashville's pick (11-14) to go to 8 along with whatever 2nd rounder and a prospect.
Who knows, I could see Minnesota taking another Finnish (armia) too if they end up top 10 which is sitll a possibility.

You know what, too many possibilities i'm gonna stop there.

Laugh1 Yeah, there are literally 100s of variables right now. IF one of those guys falls to 8,9 or 10, then I could see it happening a little more than if we had to move to 6 or 7.

Q players playing in a league with a lot less talent and not putting up the same numbers... they are not even in the discussion with Strome and RNH.

Couturier = 1.66 PPG
Strome = 1.62 PPG
Huberdeau = 1.56 PPG
RNH = 1.52 PPG

Does that put things in persepctive a little better?
I know you have your doubts about the kid, but let's not penalize him for missing games while representing his country.

His point is it's easier to dominate int the Q.

He also stated that they aren't putting up the same numbers, which is clearly false when you look into them a bit more.

I partially agree with the whole Q argument, not enough to write off what I feel is a great young talent.

I didn't look at the PPG totals so I guess I jumped the gun but Marak is right, putting up those kind of number in The Q isnt overly impressive.

The Dub has more 100 point scorers than the Q for what it's worth. I agree that the Q is weaker to a certain extent, but I wouldn't hold that against an elite level talent too much, he's proven it on different stages.

I think it's just because it's easier for good players to score more goals because the competition is weak. Look at that St-John team, they have 6 players that have more than 20 goals + 2 of the best Defensemen in the league. Yet if you put them on a WJC roster they'll probably be depth guys.

Same can be said about a lot of star players all around the CHL.

And Landeskog said Sens are his favourite team as well, and that Alfredsson is his idol.
