It's not looking good on either front tonight.

Cussing nashvillle took the game to OT....now we really need calgary to win at the expense of colorado....let's just hope edmonton wins too

I never would have thought at the time of the Anderson trade that Colorado could slip below us. It wasn't even a consideration. Granted it's not just Elliott because they've had some serious injury problems but still. Wow, that's a bad hockey club. They are easily as bad right now as we were around January.

It would certainly break the Caps futility mark of 21 points over an 80 game schedule if they played at the clip for an entire year.

NHL Standings as of this morning... Colorado has slipped past us for 2nd last overall... we're in third last place now...

Sherman was laughed at for this deal when it was announced. Considering his team's intentions (tanking), he's looking pretty damn good now isn't he?

No, he looks like an idiot for anyone that doesn't cheer for their teams to lose... their franchise looks like a joke at this point because Foote is going to retire, no one is going to sign there, and fact of the matter is they are a team and franchise that has gone down hill in a big way since their glory years.

As for The Sens, it's awesome seeing this team work hard and seeing some results. It's obviously too little too late but the injection of youth, the clear change in direction, and the effort night in and night out is all I ever wanted to see. I have all day for a team like this during a rebuild. They need some more skill and goal scoring up front but everything else looks pretty good.
