Sixasis blows, don't get those. Even if the vibration isn't a big deal for you, the sixasis are way too light and feel cheap (at least IMO).

Major: "... Come in!"

Bonus points if you can place that little gem of a quote (as always, in comedy, the timing is everything, though.)

The price I'm comparing to is the one from the guy in Hong-Kong. The buy-now price is $30, but a recent auction went through at something like $24.51.

Fawlty Towers?

Was the guy a Major in FT? Not sure. In any case, right decade, wrong continent. This was an American show.

Oh, yes, the guy was a Major as well. Both shows. Somewhat similar characters.

I googled "my mind's as sharp as a tack knock on wood" and this thread was the first hit, but look at the second one Smile

I found some even cheaper on eBay -- $24 with free shipping. There are some even less than that but they run on batteries -- I prefer battery packs. Anyhow, these ones come with a USB dongle for the wireless functionality -- dongle is not too big, so shouldn't matter except for the most discerning ones. Only got one -- you never know.

Dad question: At what age do the kids have to be before you have time to play video games again? Coffee!

Keep playing, don't stop. I stopped playing regularly when my kids were young and now when they want to play me I am rusty and not used to all these new games. I routinely get "pwned" these days.

I've tried to get my boys into the games I used to enjoy, but the classic side scrolling game just doesn't hold the youth of today's attention for very long.

With a toddler and a 5 month old at home I'm lucky to get some free time to watch a little TV before falling asleep.

Classic side scrolling? Where would you slot the LP (line printer) version of Trek? For each move you made it would print out the updated map of the quadrant you were in. Many trees were sacrificed.

As long as you have wireless controllers, you can play standing up while they toddle around you.

So start playing now and simply ignore the little ones? Wink
