And I wasn't a fan of the Kopitar goal. That's what irks me. When its so simple to just get out of the zone, those suicide passes are just....

He redeemed himself big time though. And that's why he's not a DHM

Yeah, as people have pointed out, he needs to stop the high risk plays. From the blueline in, there's a time and place to be creative - maybe even in the neutral zone, but giving up the puck in places where you can't help out is a cardinal sin. He knows it, he's cut down on it in a big way.

Last night to be represented a point where Spezza could have shrugged his shoulders and said Cuss it, I give up for this game - which, frankly, I think he may have done in the past. This year, his game improved yesterday until he made a few excellent plays in the third culminating in the GWG.

I don't take it personally or anything when people diss him, but at the same time, he's come so far this year - and really last year when he came back - that he should be given a little more of the benefit of the doubt than he seems to here - and in other forums that I've noticed.
