I guess the media are breathing a sigh of relief that Kessel appears to want to stay in Toronto. Thus, they don't have to question their hero, Jurke.

well I take this whole issue more as frustration with his line and moreso his coach. His comment about talking with ron wilson ended with him saying "ron and I don't talk....I'll just leave it at that"

make no mistake though.....he definitely wont' be traded. WIlson I expect will be gone at the end of the season (does his contract extend past this season anyways?), and leafs fans will be dreaming about brad richards playing in toronto so they won't want to trade away kessel...until richards doesn't sign with them, they endure another season without a top flight center (maybe kadri comes into his own) and repeat cycle

According to James Mirtle, Brian Burke has said that both Wilson and Kessel will be staying put.

Exactly, we need the Isles and Jersey to win those games... certainly a good possibility. None of those teams are playing great hockey, so it's up for grabs.

Apparently the Leafs could have claimed Grabner off of waivers but decided not to. I guess the same goes for a few other teams, who could be kicking themselves right about now.

Leafs acquire Voros from the Ducks for a (conditional) 7th round pick. Not sure what the conditions are...
