Have to say, though, the still does not do it justice. It was funniest to see his arms and legs still moving around. Reminded me of the days when the kids were little and we'd take them to the pool, hold them by the waist in the water, as they "swam" around.

Surely there is an animated GIF of this?

this to me is actually pretty interesting. as reported Dudley is a bit involved with the drafting. I feel that the drafting under Trevor Timmins has been less then spectacular. yes they have managed to draft ok in the first round they don't seem to always draft the players with the best character. I wonder if we'll see a change in the drafting in montreal. will Timmins be shown the door? will Dudley bring in some scouts? interesting....

It's just not possible unless Dudley has an out-clause. Burke will say no and they'll have to wait until after he's done his work on the draft. Unless he's not a big part of the draft, then so be it, but this draft is important to the Leafs so the answer will be and should be no IMO.

in the TSN thing i read it did stipulate that he had an out clause...

Seriously, if I have a guy that's going to go work for another team just after the draft, how much do I want him involved in MY draft to begin with?

It's a funny situation, and one that can only mess things up.

Word is he does have an out... and has been heavily involved in the draft prep for the Leafs... I don't know if he's even been approached by the Habs yet... so it is an odd situation, and a tough one for Burke. You don't want to hold a guy back, but sending him over now makes you wonder what info he'll take with him as far as who the Leafs are drafting etc... a bit of a situation.

I'm just glad it has nothing to do with our team...only our two most hated rivals!

Not convinced they'll be "scary", although they should contend for a playoff spot. A lot of that will depend on PK, Markov, and (giggle) Kaberle. There's also guys like Deharnais, Bourque, Leblanc, etc that will be counted on to produce.

Patch is also a cornerstone on that team. If he can repeat what he did this year, they'll be in good shape.
