Yes, but at least it's obvious that the skill level will be plentiful. Guys are still bumbling and fumbling the puck. But you can see guys cutting into open areas, it's a matter of time before our skill level starts taking over the game.

Just saw the replay of Campoli's goal and, glad it counted, but if that had been Kessel in our crease I would have been calling for goaltender interference. Yeah, he was kinda pushed a little but, seriously, if he wanted to, he would have pushed back.

Still, with all the other crap going on, I'll take it.

Haven't seen him taking a major sticking up for Karlsson, but Kovalev seems to like taking kids under his wing, so to speak, and be protective of them. He did a bit of that with Shannon last year.

By the way, Spezza just lost an edge. Last game at the SBP, I think I saw 3 players trip over "air" in just about 5 minutes. Is the ice still that bad?
