Goaltending prospects are not at all highly valued right now. Al Montoya got Freddy freakin' Sjostrom.

The fact that he has asked for a trade diminishes his value even more.

Atlanta is also an organization that lacks depth.

Therefore, I'll give you Nikulin, Schubert and a second or third for him, tops.

You saw that though, right? I was sitting there going, really, you want to give a bonafide top 6 player for this guy? I'll give you a 2nd - or Nikulin and a 3rd.

Not as good as Price or Raask or Schneider, but he's right up there. I personally don't think his numbers translate that in the AHL, but he had an awesome playoffs.

I don't like that he's whining already though to be honest. We just got rid of a couple of babies.

As I understand it, he was *guaranteed* a spot on the team, and the reason he's a miffed is that they've gone back on their word. By most accounts, he's got a genuine reason to be upset. I wouldn't be so quick to chalk all this up to a bad 'tude. It sounds like there was some mismanagement here.
