Not a bad choice, but I wonder why they didn't go with a former Sens player (as in York)?

well he was an Ottawa 67 for many years, so there's the connection. And he was born in Hull.

Anyone heard his analysis ever? any good?

I'm trying to place the voice. Was he with NHL Live on XM? If so, maybe I heard him and I think I recall really liking him. He knows what he's talking about.

I could be wrong, but if it's who I'm thinking of, SN or whoever actually ponied up for once.

Again, I think this is the guy I'm thinking of.

I'm sure there are clips of Panthers broadcasts on the youtube where you can hear him. He's good.
