Really strong interview, but he's always been really good at talking the talk, it's time for him to walk the walk. Or just put up mad points, either way.

Well being able to talk the talk is a good start. I'd certainly expect a #1 centre in a demanding Canadian market to be able to handle the media (he'll go crazy otherwise).

Murray's talking about making a playoff run this year. Now it means nothing but that's the first swagger from the Sens office (outside of Melnyk) in a long time. Last year I don't think Murray had a clue what kind of team we had, I think he was going to blow it up until Clouston was hired and finished off a crappy season with a good run.

Might be a message to Jason, "we're serious about contending here, we know you're pissed after last year's 1st round exit. We're going to do better this year"

That should quiet the trade speculation resulting from the sudden rise in Spezza's stock. Thank goodness.

Me (Spezza) and Bryan have talked since then. Probably our conversation should have stayed between us, and we probably wouldn’t even be talking here today. But it happened. And it’s a reality. For me, I didn’t feel like I had to respond to anything.
