You guys think he's actually finished in the nhl?

The game's just too fast for him now, he was never a fast skater to begin with and injuries have slowed him down even more.

Watching him in (what appears to be) his final appearance with the Sens in the post season was just painful.

Maybe they can send him to a team in Europe somewhere.

Compare the starts of that article to the one in the citizen. "Cheechoo's career may be over" in the Sun. The Citizen just wrote "step closer to being bought out". I'm no fan of the citizen, but they're waaaay more professional than the Sun. You have an option!

Capgeek has the buyout posted on the Senators chart already. 1.1 million against the cap this season.

I think it's reversed to be honest.

Either way. I guess we can all celebrate the fact that Cheechoo is "off the books". cheechoo on waivers according to McKenzie (clears waivers) - Page 13 270956

Actually yeah, we can celebrate him being gone. Nice guy - career over (or it had better be).

He's less "gone" now than he was last year in the minors. It's like we have him for an extra year now! cheechoo on waivers according to McKenzie (clears waivers) - Page 13 226479

Just trying to make the best of it. The Sens won't fold because of this. It's a waste of cap space that hurts - badly, but we'll forge forward.

666K hurts badly? Emery's buy out hurt, Cheechoo's is an inconvience.

666k this year, 1.167 next. That's actually less then what people originally expected so...
