We've got options at the deadline, depending on if Murray can land a defenceman and if so what the price will be. Ballard seems pricey.

Hopefully our 1st and 2nd rounders stay.

I would gladly give up Lee and Foligno for Ballard.

Leclaire has 2 years after this season. Kuba has a NTC until this summer, I think? We're right up against the cap. Whom do we move? Whom *can* we move to make enough cap space to get someone worth making a change for? Remember, to make room for a $5M player we'd have to *move* a $5M player.

No, Foligno and Lee is good enough for Ballard. Maybe a pick in there as well. I would do that I think...tough to say because Foligno is young and cheap, but it's within the realm.

I don't want to see Foligno get traded. Before he got injured, he proved he's going to be a good player on this team for a long time. His willingness to do anything to win is what got him injured too. You don't give up guys like that.

Lee? Sure, I'd trade him for something but I wouldn't trade Foligno unless we're getting one heck of a player. I don't think Ballard is that guy. He's highly overrated from what I've seen.

I'd rather just get a good 5/6 defensemen. That way we don't have to give up anything major and keep the younger core in tact.

Ballard really isn't that great. I mean he's probably better then Kuba but is it worth it to get Ballard and see A-Train go out the door as well? Something to think about.

Holy Dung. Cheechoo was assigned to Bingo, but he won't play there until after the Olympic break so he can have his Olympic 'vacation' time. They're crying and dying in Bingo right now.

I think Ballard could be a stud, Foligno wont be more than a 2nd line player at best. This is just my opinion of Ballard of course but I think he has it all, even that mean streak I love.

Ballard has more potential then Foligno, that's what it would come down to for me.

Just keep him the hell away from Leclaire. With Leclaire's history of freak injury, who knows what could happen.

Cheechoo will play Sunday night and then he can have a 2 week break.

Sounds like BM will leave the door open for him to return.

Ballard is just a flying mofo I love the way he plays it's like Shea Weber without the shot precision. With Karlsson out there it might be a killer pairing.
