For the first time this season I believe we could go past the 1st round in the playoffs, if Cheechoo's cap can be used on a good Defenseman.
I'm also convinced now that Barker will not wear a Hawks uniform in September.

SJ couldn't give him away, and literally forced Murray to take him. I don't think there's a trade out there for him unless we sweeten the pot. That isn't something I am willing to do personally.

That central park dodgeball game has to go down as the greatest morale booster in Sens' history.

Let's see if this works ...

Here's the dodgeball video.

Realistically, we aren't going to catch Buffalo. However Pittsburgh is 7 points up on us (no games in hand) and playing inconsistent hockey. Crosby is not going to get 6 points every night. Wow, the Isles gave up 4 PPGs to the league's worst PP while we held the league's best off the scoresheet in 6. But the two times we played them this year both games went 3-2 in OT and SO. What a crazy league.

If they keep this up attendance for Saturday's final regular season rematch against the Bruins should finally be a sellout. Whoever called last night (I think it was Clutch saying it will be 17,500) was bang on -- 17,556. That's about 1,000 that missed a heck of a game (myself included, I know, but I've got excuses that have their own excuses).

Hayden wrote:One of the best games I've been to - didn't expect the get the win and I continue to like this team more and more under Clouston.

- Regin is very good coming through the neutral zone - great goal
- Karlsson, as everyone has said, is incredible to watch
- Solid game from Elliott - nothing flashy just plain solid
- Not sure how this game doesn't sell out - regardless if you like the sens - hockey fans in Ottawa should have filled the rink (changes really need to made to get people out to the rink)

I'd say there was at least one thing flashy. GAME DAY: Chicago Blackhawks @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Tue. Jan. 19th, 2010 - Page 19 Icon_wink

Here, I'll try to help him remember ...
