That central park dodgeball game has to go down as the greatest morale booster in Sens' history.

Perhaps like when the Anaheim Ducks came in here and played scrimmage on the Canal? Ahhhhh!

No Diddling kidding.

I commented on it earlier because it's so easy to just overlook it...but Ryan Shannon with 18 seconds left in the game dives across the block a cross ice pass and deflects it out of the defensive zone.

Why? They were up 4-1 at that point.

Why? Because these guys are a team. And it's like they're finally getting it. It's starting to click for them.

We haven't just won four in a row. We've crushed those teams defensively. We've allowed four goals in those games. FOUR!

By the way, 2 wins in 2 days means Ottawa has moved to 5th in the conference. GAME DAY: Chicago Blackhawks @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Tue. Jan. 19th, 2010 - Page 18 542150

If he keeps absorbing the info and improving, we're in for a big treat. Try not to get ahead of myself obviously, but it's nice to see him improving at the rate that was expected.

Ahhhhh!

I'll help you:

- Future Norris candidate
- Second coming of MIke Green (with better defensive instincts)
- Future captain

Man if we can play like this with the return of Spez and Michalek, we could go on a tear, and I can see some very very interesting stuff for the end of the season.

I'll echo SD's sentiments, but it should be pointed out that the Sens haven't had this mix of skill and hard work since...2006-2007.

We just have to hope that the goaltending holds up and nothing drastic happens injury-wise (*knocks on wood*) and this team should be, at least, a tough draw for the first round.

One of the best games I've been to - didn't expect the get the win and I continue to like this team more and more under Clouston.

- Regin is very good coming through the neutral zone - great goal
- Karlsson, as everyone has said, is incredible to watch
- Solid game from Elliott - nothing flashy just plain solid
- Not sure how this game doesn't sell out - regardless if you like the sens - hockey fans in Ottawa should have filled the rink (changes really need to made to get people out to the rink)

I'd say there was at least one thing flashy. GAME DAY: Chicago Blackhawks @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Tue. Jan. 19th, 2010 - Page 18 Icon_wink

Wow, the boys are firing on all cylinders these past couple of games -- a real treat to watch.

It's too bad that we'll have to scratch/send players down when we get Spezz and Micky back.

Zach Smith has really impressed me these past couple of games. I really see Regin being a stud second line center and Smith as a perfect 3rd line center, future is looking pretty good!

It's time to trade some players. Donovan could be scratched from time to time so we can keep him but Cheechoo really has to go... I don't even know where but he has to. For the first time this season I believe we could go past the 1st round in the playoffs, if Cheechoo's cap can be used on a good Defenseman.
I'm also convinced now that Barker will not wear a Hawks uniform in September.

Man, on that subject, I thought Barker and Campbell were the two worst players on either team. Barker got dominated so badly all night and obviously Campbell had a night to forget.

I want nothing to do with Barker please and thank you. :crossarms:

SJ couldn't give him away, and literally forced Murray to take him. I don't think there's a trade out there for him unless we sweeten the pot. That isn't something I am willing to do personally.

Let's see if this works ...

Here's the dodgeball video.
