Tell me I'm not the only one who went Diddling BONKERS when they called that goal off? Wow, I need to chill sometimes, but I was right on pissed man. We got pretty lucky otherwise, the first could have killed us, we were asleep, their passes were perfect. Leclaire saved our arse big time the whole game. Love the Shannon, Fisher, Kovalev line though, really effective. Michalek and Neil might also be finding some good chemistry.

Regin's fantastic. He's a lot of fun to watch, I'm pleasantly surprised that he rebounded so nicely and is playing so well in the absence of Alfie and Spezza and Foligno.

I thought we were sunk after going down 2-0 so early on, lot the character we showed clawing back into the game.

I hate those nobs on the sportsnet intermission who tried to justify the non-goal with some rulebook technicalities, F off.

Loved Regin and Kovalev's games tonight.

Going forward we could have a nice little winning streak on our hands -- although Colorado is a wildcard.

So that's what it feels like to see a win at the bank eh... Haven't felt it since THe 2007 playoffs^^.
The crowd was also way better tonight I thought.

Have you ever seen a goalie overcommit so much? It's time for a change. I felt 100x more comfortable with Elliott in net.

-1 for this comment. You should take it easy on some of the other posters you bash.

Great game - so many Hab jerseys at the game but the atmosphere was the best I've experienced this year.

Really liked Regin, Neil and Leclaire tonight. The Habs first line was also quite impressive - moved the puck nicely.

Kuba is terrible - why do I have him in my pool?

Agreed with this take.

There will always be things to pick apart our goaltenders' games. Leclaire held us in there. This was 2 points that could easily have gone the other way. Not much more you can ask from your 'tender.

was at the game (4th game this year...don't mean to brag, but sens are 4-0 when I'm there Smile). Atmosphere was great. crazy sloppy play, but satisfied considering this team never usually wins without alfie. Leclaire is the shiznit

As for me, the curse ended today.

I dont know how many times I was standing tonight. Goal, no goal, Goal, review, goal, Empty net, win etc. My dead voice even screamed Go Sens Go with a few 5-6 year olds in the section GAME DAY: Montreal Canadiens @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Mon. Dec. 28th, 2009 - Page 12 54934 .

Love to see Habs fans shut up.

Haha love the whining on the Habs forum on HF. They actually think they are the first team to not get a PP in a game this season...
Canadiens should rhyme with ignorance.

The head of officiating in the NHL comes out last week with a statement seeing there is no conspiracy against the Senators...maybe he'd like to make a statement explaining the reasoning behind calling back that goal.

What the Diddle is next? Waiving goals off because our players are shooting too hard? Skating too fast? Passing too well?

What a farce this league is. Officiating needs to be overhauled...cause it's a sad sack of Dung right now and it seems to only be getting worse.

Apart from that, nice to the see the guys pick up another win without el-Capitan.

Need to put a few together here and start pulling away a bit from the rest of the pack.

WOW. Just WOW. On a couple levels. First wow to the team for coming back and winning this one despite the blown call waiving off that goal. The other wow is the reaction to the refs tonight. The reffing was poor but to suggest we got jobbed by the refs is pure lunacy. The Sens didn't take a single penalty all game and from where I was sitting I saw plenty that could have been called. Sure that goal being waived off was horrendous but seriously no way did we get screwed over by the refs last night.
