That was an intense game. Whew...

I haven't read the posts yet, but what in that name of Diddle was that call on Ruutu for? 5 minutes for a shoulder check? I must say, I give the Ottawa fans credit for being loud about that being complete and utter BS. Then the non-call on the nerd who clearly interfered with Karlsson. Wow, unreal how blatantly blind and/or dumb that ref was.

He called some Buffalo guy for touching Michalek's stick right after that because he knew he was so Diddling dumb.

The only thing the ref did right all night was get in the way of a clear so Kovalev would get set up in the slot (for all that was worth).

Also, Kovalev NEEDS desperately to learn when to get the Diddle off the ice. Almost cost us a goal at the end and possibly the game.

On the plus side - go Elliott!!! Way to shut the critics up with a strong performance. And...I'm not sure who picked the stars on the Team (we bolted when the horn sounded), but Winchester over Alfie? Let's get one thing straight here, Winchester was great, but Alfie was the rock that held us together in that game.

Miller was incredible, but that goes without saying.

Great win! Very happy times. Ahhhhh! Lalalala

Yeah, for one night...the stars all aligned.

That was easily Alfie's best game of the year. Winchester probably got the star because he elevated his game so much.

Such a fantastic game from Alfie. One of his best, if not as you say, his best of the year.

That was the most enjoyable game I have been to in over 2 years. That was an absolute dominate game and in all seriousness, that team has not played that well in well over 2 plus years.

That's a playoff team. They need to play a lot more then one game like this to really put them sleves ahead of other teams and prove they dont need Spezza, but wow, tonight, this was basically an anti Spezza game.

The score should have been 8-0, Miller was fantastic. I cant begin to describe how well The Sens played tonight, it was unreal and I picked up tickets for Saturday night just based on what I saw tonight.

I wish Elliott would stop letting in those back breakers though.

Or did he elevate Alfi's? It's amazing what Alfi can do when he isnt covering up bone head plays by others.

Anybody noticed that Karlsson now takes a hit and looks pretty fine, when at the beginning of the season he either avoided it or fell after taking one.

He takes it like a (small) man now. He's literally - and I mean this without most traces of homerism - getting better by the game.

That kid was fantastic in his own zone tonight. He also made one pass to Alfi that I actually didnt think was possible to get over there, my mouth dropped.

Kid keeps getting better.

Mhh... not sure I agree with you SD on Winchester. I think he intercepted a Buffalo pass 16545 times tonight.
I didn't see the first period though...

PS: I want Karlsson on the left side of the PP now that he is more responsible.

Also, Campoli was fantastic at forward. I mean that, fantastic. He passed, he created, he hit.

I'm shocked. Can't sit him or play him at D until he slows down.

Winchester fit there like a glove. He was fantastic and you can tell he can read plays at a high level. Nothing but good things to say. I just thought Alfalfa had one of his best games of the year and blew everyone not named Miller out of the water.

It's amazing what Alfi does out there some nights. The guy has the ability to be the best player on the ice any night, doesnt matter who is on the other team.

I am starting to think MIller is the best goalie in the league...
Dude's a machine, have yet to see a bad goal get through him this year.

Miller is the best goaltender in the league. He reads the play so well and knows exactly where the next shot is coming from. He isnt the most tallented goaltender IMO, but defently the best.
