Well, not only did Spezza not do a frigging thing, he burries his team. Not being bad and just being out there is one thing, costing the team like that is another.

It's gone from anoying to stupidity and anger.

I would love CC to sit Spezza instead of Foligno next game to send an "accountability" message instead of giving him more ice time. I defend the moron all game and he goes and does that, I hate everyone that was on the ice for that goal yes even Carkner

Wow, I usually try to stay calm with this team starts to frustrate me, but this is too much.

It seemed we couldn't complete one pass, and when we finally did we would lose it immediately. I don't think I have ever seen a more horrific display of faceoffs. Can we please win at least a couple???

Brian Elliott has to be better. Over the past 2 games he's seemingly fighting the puck.

And N4L, I was trying to take the patient route with Spezza, but he's officially pissing me off. If his back is indeed that bad, sit out and stop hurting the team. He keeps picking up the puck and losing instantly or bumped easily off of it.

One of the only bright spots for me tonight was Karlsson. He's beginning to play with alot more poise and confidence. He still makes obvious mistakes here and there, but we'll have to live through these mistakes.

We must now win back to back nights in order to save any face on this road trip ---- not an easy task. Toss Brodeur in Saturday night vs. the Yotes.

Spezza is what he is. I get people wanting to believe in the guy but there is nothing to beleive in. He's a selfish, over rated (or at least was), soft, unwilling puss. I wasnt FOR trading Spezza mid season, I 100% am now.

Edmonton is looking for some help.

Well then it shouldn't be up to him, where is CC's accountability and "no-star" treatment. Just sit him

OK, good to hear about Karlsson.

I got to watch bout 4 minutes of the game (the first 4 minutes of the second) and I saw the Kings score with Karlsson on the ice.

According to NHL stats, he was only a -1, though. He also led the entire game in ice-time at over 26 minutes. How was he defensively?

I personally thought he was great, love his pairing with Kuba. No wonder they called him up instead of Lee.

Some really good, some really bad. Like we were saying in the chat, he looks like a 19 year old D men with tons of potential, but not Doughtey, haha. Karlsson was solid, really happy with how he looked.

Thing with Karlsson's mistakes is, when he makes one, he works his but off to get back and battle... unlike another Senator we know who wears number 19. I hope this is the last we see of him this year because The Sens are better without him. Selfish a player as there is in The NHL.

Time for Elliott to take a seat. He had his chance, was good, then great, then average, then below average. Real lack of consistency. Let Brodeur have his wish and get a start, let Elliott watch a game from the bench.

Carkner was a hero all game long and then totally fucks it up at the end. Holy Diddle, what a mistake.

We played well enough to have tied it up, but seems to be the same old story lately, we're not finishing when we need to be clutch. I guess we knew it was gonna be a long night when Alfie coughs it up in the first minute and doesn't get back nearly quick enough.

Karlsson was good though. Not great yet, but slowly he's showing a lot of poise and skill. Shannon is officially 100% back, he was great again tonight. Fisher's found his other wingman for sure, no question again this year. Cheechoo was great as well - he needs keep at it with that kind of energy for sure.

A few negatives, a few positives. Diddling disappointing though.

Tough loss last night... some costly mistakes and brain farts sealed our fate. Some questionable effort out there too...

I could always use a good little joke in the morning so Im assuming that's one because that play is 500% on Spezza. H

Most of us have been saying that.

Wow...no question, Elliot has to be much better. 18 saves on 24 shots is unacceptable. These next two games are pretty much must wins if we want to stay in the race for the division lead. Put Brodeur in against the yotes and please, Leclaire...get back quickly!
