Holy mother of pearl, the Swiss beat the Russians in the quarter-finals. Not the Swedes, the Swiss! Their goalie, Conz, made 50 saves as they won 3-2 in OT.

Yeah, Swiss beating Russia could be considered a huge upset.

The Swiss play Canada today @ 5PM, and Sens vs. Flyers @ 1PM.

Also, USA vs. Sweden in the semi's tonight @ 9PM.

The Swiss could be really dangerous, however I still expect a big let-down after beating the Russians. Still, if I was the coaching staff I'd be scared of the Canadian team looking past the Swiss to the Gold medal game.

Here's hoping that doesn't happen, and the US/Sweden game is a bloodbath.

Canada needs to take the Swiss very seriously after yesterday's performance vs the Russians. No letting up, pedal to the metal from the get go and don't let up. Pound these mothers into submission early and then bury them.
