Bass Destruction wrote:Florida scares me. They had our number last year. Granted it was Anderson we couldn't score on, and now he's in Colorado. But their forechecking system seems to fluster our defense and their fast breaks seem to confuse our team.

Last year we were 1-2-1 against them. 8 goals for, 13 goals against.

In the preseason, we went 0-2 against them and only managed to score a total of 2 goals against them, while they scored 5 against us.

This is not going to be an easy game for us, I'm not very optimistic. I believe our boys can pull this out, it's just a matter of getting a few bounces, and having a steady attack from our 3 scoring lines.

Sporting a 9-1-2 record and just pitching a shutout last night. The guy was a fabulous tender - I thought he was just amazing against us, but watching last year and this year - this guy is absolutely amazing.

I was pumping Anderson's tires for a few years now so Im not all that surprised.

Vokoun is one of the most over rated goaltenders in the league, he isnt hard to beat most of the time. Like the last 2 games, no reason The Sens should lose this one.

This is the time to go medieval on Florida and Tampa Bay. Go nuts guys, you'll have a good goalie behind you no matter if it's Leclaire or Elliott. No bad habits, but come at Florida tonight hard and make it a mission to make them play on their heals.

Also, make sure you dump pucks in and make their defenders turn around while you enter the zone. They have a real issue turning around to face their goalie and recovering pucks. Buffalo beat them 10 times or more in the first period a week or so ago by doing that. Ballard is amazing, but he's a lone man out there. Tire them out, attack, score and win. Anything less is a major disappointment. Major.

Score.

I'm getting lambasted every which way in NHL pools this year. Yikes.... GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Florida Panthers - 7:30pm ET - Wed. Oct. 28th, 2009 - Page 4 489887

Apparently Clouston is sitting Shannon. So there you go Neely, your prayers have been answered.

EDIT: For Donovan. There ya go.

we shall see how that pays off tonight, will be home tonight in time for puck drop, hopefully CSI NY will be a repeat tonight and I won't have to fight for the TV.

Finally Donovan comes back.

If he keeps this up I think he should be a lock for the fourth line.

I'm going to pull a Neely here. This is exactly what I said would happen last week. I told you Shannon comes out when Kuba comes back in and takes his proper place on the PP. I am so great. I am so smart. I love me.

Prayers? What kind of freaked out church do you go to? If anything I'd say his cursing has been answered.

CSI: "anything" has been a repeat for the last few years. Names have been changed to protect the writers from thinking too hard.

they still sucker my wife into enjoying the show, I am more of a Criminal Minds guy myself. Wish I was 1/8th as smart as the character Reed.

HA HA! Is Neely dancing? Leclaire to start, Donovan in, Shannon out. Let's get this party started!

I'm calmed by the fact that Shannon doesn't have to go out and press, he can chill and watch the game. Donovan is a perfect 4th liner, Leclaire I feel comfortable in.

Let's do it. Big time too, don't Diddle around. GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Florida Panthers - 7:30pm ET - Wed. Oct. 28th, 2009 - Page 4 235689

We used to be huge L&O fans back in the day when there was still more than one of the original cast members left. This summer when everything else dried up (finished re-watching Firefly, BSG and my "Ultimate Bond" collection, and there were no movies that tickled my fancy) we tried out a few "procedurals" including "Bones" and "Criminal Minds". Criminal Minds was pretty good. It was a nice, refreshing change to see something that you didn't need to have invested the last few seasons in watching in order to be able to follow the story line (we *do* seem to like the shows with a central arc).
