+100.

They shouldn't let US channels host hockey games, especially Fox Sports. Just brutal all around. The announcers didn't know the names of any OTT players (every guy with a 1 or 7 on his jersey was "Kuba"), had no clue what the penalty calls were, had no reply cover to point out penalties or bad/good plays, had zero sense of what was happening out on the ice, and who had to turn to football and baseball analogies to try to explain things.

I thought I was watching an OHL broadcast on Rogers 22. Hosted my 2 mentally challenged inbreds.

Did I mention that I'm upset that I pay good money to have to sit through that sorry excuse for a broadcast?

Let's wait and see what the word on Volchie is...

Alfi is just unreal though, can't believe that guy is putting up over a PPG pace again and dominating games like he's 28 again. The guy is bionic.

He was easily the best player on the ice. That line was electric.

I haven't read the thread, is anyone else complaining about the reffing, or is it just me?

Meh, it was awful. Has been all year for a lot of teams. We won, games over, no point in talking about it IMO.

By far Alfie's best game of the year.

Elbow injury for Volchie apparently. GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Florida Panthers - 7:30pm ET - Wed. Oct. 28th, 2009 - Page 21 427259

Well, the refs certainly didn't play even-up with the calls. Sounds like most of the calls were warranted against the Sens.

A Train is an elbow injury, probably hyper extended, could be worse.

That's what I said when I first saw it. Looked like a hyperextension of the elbow. Sometimes those hurt alot but you can recover relatively quickly, like a 7 to 10 days.

Meh, yes and no.

Nice to hear Clouston calling out the refs. That would cost him if anyone was actually listening.

Well, I feel I should say this but how about Carkner? He was huge in the last 5 mins of that game, was solid in the offensive zone, and smart with the puck all game. Really good, simple, and effective game for him.

When Volchie dove to knock the puck away from the Panther's player, the guy fell on his arm, no doubt tweaking the elbow... hopefully not too bad.

Why did Donovan only get 4+ minutes?

No special teams play?

That is pretty low. He only had 7 shifts.
