GAME DAY: Tampa Bay Lightning @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Thu. Oct. 15th, 2009

Ottawa's biggest offensive downfall this year has been setting it up properly in the opposing team's end. They break out great, kinda fumble around the neutral zone, then lose the puck in their end and repeat. I think Clouston needs to work on breaking in, not breaking out. We have a lot of offensive talent, and I think our system needs to be tweaked a little bit to play much more of a possession game than we have in the past two losing years.

PS- Loving the game day header on the main page. Looks great.

It's gone on long enough where we're 'close' but can't score. Come on, let's do it tonight. Mike Smith is an excellent goalie, so it won't be easy, but let's pepper him and his sore back.

Hypothetically: Would you take Jason Blake on re-entry waivers? So, around 2 million?

Yeah, the NHL_Sens Twitter update had Shannon in there. Should be Regin and Winch that are out tonight, along with Kuba of course.

Yay, I get to see Shannon live for the first time this year.

You'd be surprised what Jason Blake can bring when he's not being counted on to support the entire offense. I've always like the little dude, but his reputation has been tarnished irreparably in TO. I only asked because I believe it's a matter of time before Burke waives him and no one's taking him for 4 bills, but on re-entry, there might be some interest at 2 million.
