I'm sure Doug MacLean has one.

And next year, I'll have one too. Then we can play together.

I can't wait for 2010/11 to see the comparison. Yeah that's it. For the comparison. Not because I can't stand watching the Sens get pummeled.

Call me a skeptic... but that's how I see it.
HA! Look at this... and the Salary Cap goes UP yet again.

Man... mark my word... we could have a world war with a nuclear holocaust and the NHL's salary cap would STILL GO UP. Book it.

Having the NHLPA vote for a 5% bonus increase pretty much guarantees a bump in the cap every year that they can do so, it would seem.

Last night's game in Arizona -- someone described it as a "Friends and Family Night". The official attendance was 6,706. No, there's no digits missing.

Yeah, there's been some bad attendance the last few days... wowzers. ATL and CBJ has some pretty low numbers as well the other night.

If these figures are true, some teams have problems that far outweigh their cap situations:

http://espn.go.com/nhl/attendance

Look at NJ at 13,945. How do you even make enough money to pay for a maxed out roster and a brand new building?

Look at the Oilers, Lightning and Avalanche. Not even exciting young teams and good starts to the season can get them sell outs. Yikes.

Oilers *are* selling out.

18 Oilers 3 50,517 16,839 100.0

Are you looking at the wrong year?

With Centre Ice I've seen a lot of hockey in the last week. I can't believe how empty some of the arenas are!

Sort by percentage, makes it easier to see who's at the bottom:

So the Oilers have the smallest capacity arena in the league? How do they only sit 16,839?
