Spezza and Neil "fight" in practice

Doesnt mean the other one didnt have it coming. I have a younger brother and FOR SURE he deserved it at times, be it right or wrong.

Point being is just because Neil was wrong for slashing him doesnt change that fact that Spezza got slashed for something. It's like that annoying little kid that gets punched or beat up that no one wants around... doesnt make the guys that punch him any better but fact of the matter is no one wants the kid near them.

If you want to turn it into a right or wrong, sure, Neil was wrong for slashing him, I'll buy that, but he didnt do it because he thought it would be neat. That's all I'm saying.

Also, you wouldnt lip off to a boxer who has a short fuse would you? Common sense there... even if you get knocked out the other guy could be wrong but you still got knocked out.

On the other hand, what you did say was that for sure it was Spezza's fault. You were not arguing that, just because Neil slashed first it didn't mean he was at fault. You were just saying that, when Neil's on the ice, he's aways in the right, so it must have been Spezza's fault. No ifs ands or buts.

Anyhow, I really don't see what the big deal is. I loved how Spezza gave Neiler props by saying "Once the gloves came off I had to get out of there". Diffuse the situation with some humor and an acknowledgment of the other's superior pugilistic skills.

thankfully he didn't give the goofy laugh after Spezza can only beat Markov, and he is on the shelf for a few months.

yeah pretty pathetic fight, was voted as a draw on hockey fights, not even sure why they would put it there, but meh, not much to draw from for Spezz lol.
