yeah it started with the typo "you got pwned".
Eventually people started liking the typo due to its inherent chess reference.
Then any "own" variation became a "pwn" variation. But on the cover of the Sun??? WOW I didn't expect that haha

Hmmm...

Spezza? What's with him? Also, any physical reason why Regin's danish was nailed to the bench in the second half of the third?

(Get it? "Dansih", it's a type of bun.)

I dont think that was real was it? To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it was- Sun writers are the biggest hacks on the planet.

This whole 'pwned' thing is a huge pet peeve of mine. It's for computer geeks and xbox freaks. It's absolutely challenged, as is anyone who uses it. GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs - 7:00pm ET - Tue. Oct. 6th, 2009 - Page 23 812636

I swear there are people saying that when A-Train destroyed Stalnerd that he also took out Regin a little. Could he have felt the effects? Or was Clouston just not using him. And if that's the case, come on Clouston, he'll be your number 2 centerman soon, use him! Not to mention he's friggin impeccable as a 2-way forward - like Shannon, but a little bigger but not as fast.

Maybe Clouston was stroking the veterans a little by sitting mostly younger/rookie players? Who knows.

Regin should be the 2nd line Center now. I'm still baffled by that move. I wonder if Clouston will even try Foligno - Regin - Kovalev?

Ah, not real then? Sure I'm gullible, but it really does say something about the Sun's reputation for me to even consider it. If it were Globe & Mail, Citizen etc. I would have caught on a lot sooner GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs - 7:00pm ET - Tue. Oct. 6th, 2009 - Page 23 668437

That's a beautiful line, it really is. Or Michalek - Regin - Fisher. Boom. Speed, creativity and net drive. Either way. Mind you, we desperately need to find Kovalev a partner to excel with - it looked like it might be Fisher and Michalek for a while last night, but it's an ongoing experiment no doubt.

PS, I don't say NHL players suck very often, but Garnett Exelby sucks now. No if ands or buts, he's finished. I used to love his game and his style of game, but the dude's all used up.

A thundering fleecing by...Don Waddel on Brian Burke. WTF is the world coming to?

We were missing a center, so that's why he moved Fisher back. But Foligno played center in junior, so the other option would have been to keep Fisher on wing and let Foligno center the 3rd line. By the way, can Shannon play wing? Maybe he wouldn't be getting concussed so much if he didn't carry the puck across the middle so much.

I don't think any of the Genius's geniusly signings/acquisitions are that hot. Except the Monster.

Are closeups of the Genius's reaction after goals for or against added value from our pals at TSN? What a bunch of chumps.

Haha I was completely fooled. One favor, if the Leaf's Jeff Finger does anything this season worthy of a front page story, edit that one too and make a terrible finger joke. GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs - 7:00pm ET - Tue. Oct. 6th, 2009 - Page 23 Icon_smile

He can play a most awesome wing yes, however, in his first game playing wing last year, some idiot on the Islanders knocked his block off.

Hmmm... are they refering to the fact that the monster got pwned? or the fact that he pwned the Sens?

I would consider getting deked that bad by Alfie getting pwned myself...

Only in Toronto... Well maybe Montreal too.. LOL
