Up and down.

Clouston needs to start figuring out line combinations and defensive pairings real soon.

He also appears to be the weakest 6'3" player in the NHL. I bet Karlsson would outmuscle him in a one-on-one situation. He'll never be more than a perimeter player unless he can either skate by opposition players or overpower them.
I dunno, I'm happy we got the win but I'm unconvinced. That was also pretty boring to watch. Near - dare I say it - Hartsburg levels of boredom.

I don't know, I thought it was a very good game from the Sens and they had a lot of rushes, it was nothing like a Hartsburgh defense first type of game. It wasn't the most exciting Battle of Ontario game but the Sens executed well on every level

I was bored, our offence was for the most part horribly uninspring. I am not seeing any great plays, Spezza is still blindly passing to the other team.
Donovan's goal was an ugly one, and maybe we got lucky with the call a bit. Michalek's breakaway and the resulting penalty show was terrific.
It's nice that our 4th line can step up and net us a garbage goal but I'm not seeing the talent level of our top 6 at this point.
We tightened up defensively and Leclaire is the real deal so I'm happy overall

Could be worse...we could be say Vancouver or San Jose, a team supposedly a Cup favorite that is losing in spectacular fashion to inferior teams.

I know that, it's just an observation not judgement.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, there was enough to be happy about -especially net drive that seemed to start with the Rangers game and got a lot better tonight - particularly with Kovalev-Fisher-Michalek (? I think) as the game went on.
If it all comes together properly, we're gonna be happy.
